Time to think.....

Posted by Ooglers Googlers Tuesday, June 8, 2010

First of all let me welcome myself back to blogging world. After the snowstorm that hit the DC Metro area back in Feb, I sort of went into hibernation with work and other priorities of life. With spring nearly ending and summer on the horizon, I am back from my hibernating world with a fresh new thought and outlook.

The spring of 2010 has brought many changes to life (both personally and professionally). Handling more responsibilities at work and getting engaged more deeply into the activities and politics at my work place is task as usual. In addition, planning for the things to be done in summer and doing a 360 on myself for the things achieved so far is also on the agenda.

With my parents in town for their version of US Spring/Summer, last few weeks have been really fantastic. From trips to DC to Las Vegas, being with family has a new meaning. Mingling with family and being awake till wee hours of morning is simply the norm of the day. Good home cooked food from Mom, the sense of protection from parents and the blissful guidance that only parents can give although is short lived, but the affects it will leave will last for ever.

Life also takes unexpected turns and requires calibration at every turn. All good things have to come to an end and so is ending the time I will be spending with my parents shortly. They are scheduled to depart in early July and we will be left again with fond memories and the wait for us to be with them again.

With every passing moment, I am beginning to cherish every moment life has to offer to me knowing that these are the moments I will live in my memories for ever.

I promise to be regular with my "Unexpected" thoughts and continue to feed in the need to visit my blog in everyone.
