It's that time of life all over again......from changing diapers to sleepless nights, from going through the nervousness of being parents once again to the joy of having a complete family. The feeling is nostalgic and scary at the same time, but makes you live every moment of it.
Not too long ago when we had our first child, the act of parenting was very foreign to both me and my wife. Thanks to the support from family who was here for the first 6 months of our new changed lives, without their support we could not have pulled it over.
The feeling is no different this time. We are going through the same jitters and feelings, only we are a little better prepared for the second one as we were the first time. Some unknowns are knowns (at least we think) and some things will always be as mystical as the riddle of life after death.
Explaining our elder son what's going to change in our life after the little one gets out of Mommy's bulging tummy gets very comical at times yet keeps the focus on things to expect. From searching names for the new kid on the block to making the laundry list of things that are required prior, during and post birth is a paramount task that has taken numerous nights and dinner table discussions. Support from friends and family in this electronic "Social Media" age is pouring left and right. Not one day has gone when I don't see a smile on my face after reading loads of unique one liners on Twitter and Facebook suggesting us "what to expect when you are expecting".
The timing couldn't have been better for the little one to pop out and experience the cold and festive season during the year end. From Santa to Snow, there will be joys spread all over the family. Although life will be tough initially, but in words of Winston Churchill "We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us", will go many a miles in ensuring that we as parents do the right thing and provide all the love and care to this new soul as we did with our first one.
May god bless us to succeed in our noble journey.

Congrats Ashish
